My name is Cohutta Lee Grindstaff. I was born and raised in the Southern Appalachian mountains of Northern Georgia and currently reside in Paradise Valley Montana. Co-hut-ta is a cherokee word meaning “mountains that hold up the sky.” I say that because it saves folks from having to ask. I’ve been blessed to be a part of the most incredible construction projects in all facets of the industry for the past 15 years. I love to work with my hands, onsite, and come home exhausted with pockets of sawdust each evening. Cohutta Lee Builders has built custom homes, mountain chalets, commercial bars/restaurants, performed complete renovations, updated and reconditioned historical buildings and even built full on movie sets.
